Mankind fled a war-torn, resource-depleted Earth by uploading their consciousness into a virtual utopia known as “The Vessel”. Centuries later, Sam Morgan is lured back into the government’s good graces to investigate the system’s energy malfunctions, unaware that the blackouts killing thousands are actually system errors in the digital reality. Sam discovers more than he bargains for when he learns that the “real” world as he knows it is not real at all. After he discovers the horrifying truth, Sam must return to a difficult place and face a ghost from his past.
